Ledger.com/Start® is the official starting point for setting up your Ledger Nano X or Ledger Nano S Plus device. This guide helps you download Ledger Live, install firmware, and initialize your device with a secure PIN and recovery phrase.
By visiting Ledger.com/Start®, you’ll be guided through each step of the process to ensure your wallet is configured correctly and your assets are fully protected. Ledger wallets keep your private keys offline, making them inaccessible to hackers and online threats.
The setup is simple and only takes about 10–15 minutes. Make sure you have your Ledger device, USB cable, computer or smartphone with internet, and a secure place to write down your 24-word recovery phrase.
Unboxing Your Ledger Device
Carefully unbox your Ledger hardware wallet and ensure all items are included: the Ledger device, USB cable, recovery sheets, and documentation. Verify that the packaging is untampered for security reasons.
Connecting to Ledger.com/Start®
Plug in your Ledger device via USB and head to Ledger.com/Start®. Download Ledger Live and install any firmware updates recommended during the process.
Initializing Your Wallet
At Ledger.com/Start®, follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet, choose a PIN code, and back up your 24-word recovery phrase securely. This phrase is your ultimate backup to access your funds.
